John McCall, BPlan (Auckland University) – Planner
John joined Burton Consultants in 2014 as a Graduate Planner, straight after completing his 4 year Bachelor of Planning Degree at Auckland University. John’s University experience taught him a range of up-to-date planning tools and theory including: current planning practice, policy and legislation, preparing and writing an Assessment of Environmental Effects and the resource consent application process. He has been putting theory into practice ever since, and his eagerness to gain a greater understanding of planning has resulted in a productive and high output work ethic. John has experience in preparing and lodging complex resource consent applications and outline plan of works, preparing formal submissions and further submissions on Proposed Plan Changes, Reserve Management Plans and Notice of Requirements across New Zealand.
